7. As regards the above estimate of proceeds

from Land sales, I enclose for your information a list of sa-

les, furnished by the Director of Public Works, that are likely

to be effected this year, from which you will observe that it

is not improbable that a considerably larger-sum may be reali-

sed. I have, however, thought it prudent not to adopt too high

an estimate of receipts from this source.

8. As regards the Estimates for next year, pro-

vision will have to he made for the following additional ex-

penditure:-
